Winter Iceland – 2017 Edition

After some rainfall yesterday, the trees were left with a glass-like coat of ice for the most of the day. As the sun slipped lower in the sky, the ice caught the last sun rays of the day and made for some beautiful images. Nature’s Christmas Eve present was certainly one to remember this year.

Hard Lines

Walking into the office a few weeks ago I noticed an interesting intersection of lines and contrast. The camera hasn’t been making enough appearances outside of the backpack as of late – I’ll try to change that.

Fall Golf In The Mountains

These pictures were taken at Mount Washington Resort during a practice round for the New Hampshire Golf Association mid-am fourball tournament. Having posted two under-par rounds there this year, it’s shaping up to be one of my “go-to” courses when I need to throw a good number on the scorecard!

Bloom

There are two flower pots beside the entrance to the office I work in. Someone takes the time to plant new flowers in them about every month. Appreciate that some things don’t just happen out of thin air. Sometimes beauty exists because of planning and hard work.

The Lilac Blossom

There’s an amazing restaurant in our town called the Lilac Blossom. It’s surprising how often we don’t associate product/brand names with what they actually are. While walking to the car this morning I noticed the fragrance of the blossoming lilac. The connection was made and I stopped to take this quick picture.
