Spent some time (trying) to capture water vapor coming out of a humidifier. This was an interesting shoot because the shutter speed on the Nikon D5200 isn’t exactly stellar. A lot of work was done in Lightroom to clean these up, but the results are neat. All of these were shot with the 50mm. My personal favorites are the close-ups. It took a lot of trial and error to get the focus even remotely close. Water vapor is elusive and actually behaves a bit like an open flame.
